Returns

As an independent, designer-led brand, we are deeply honored that you chose LOU.EARL shoes for your wardrobe. Every single order means the world to us.

 

For Domestic (U.S) Orders

Because we are so grateful for your initial support, we happily cover and completely refund your original shipping charges if a pair doesn't work out. 

To help us sustainably manage our independent business and split the logistical journey with you, we ask for a small bit of help in return:

  • Return Label Fee: The cost of the pre-paid return shipping label will be deducted from your final refund amount.

  • Shopify Transaction Fees: Financial institutions, credit card networks, and payment gateways including Shopify Payments, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, and other digital wallets retail their transaction processing fees (approximately 3% of the order total) the moment a purchase is made and does not return them to us when we issue a refund. Therefore, this merchant processing fee will be deducted from your final refund to cover these unrecoverable transaction fees.

Return Period

We accept returns that are initiated within 14 days of receipt. Please ship your return back to us within 3 days of receiving your pre-paid shipping label. All U.S. domestic returns must be shipped back with the shipping label that is provided by LOU.EARL. 

To Initiate a return

  • Contact customer service at info@louearlshoes.com along with your name and order number. You will receive a reply within 3 business days.
  • Please return your order with the shoe box, plastic shoe forms, and tissue included and intact.
  • Shoes must be returned without any signs of wear (which is defined as, creases on the upper, or scuff marks on the sole) or alterations.
  • Any returns without the original shoe box will not be accepted. If an exception is made, it may be subject to a $20.00 restocking fee. 
  • Please allow 1-3 days from when your return is delivered at our warehouse for your return to be processed. Only return shipping charges will be deducted from your refund. Credit card and payment provider processing fees are non-refundable.
  • Worn or damaged footwear cannot be returned.

Exchanges

Exchanges are subject to availability. If you'd like to exchange your order for another style, color, or size, we suggest you purchase your new choice as we are not able to place items on hold.  You may then return your original purchase for a refund.

Promotions under 25% off: Standard return rules apply (eligible for refund, minus the transaction fee and return shipping label cost).

Markdowns of 25%-49% off: Eligible for store credit. No refunds to the original payment method will be issued.

Clearance & Last Pairs (50% off): All items marked down by 50% or more, or explicitly marked as "Final Sale", are Final Sale. They cannot be returned, exchanged, or credited. 


For International Orders

Due to the high complexity of global transit, all international orders outside of the United States are final.

GIFT CERTIFICATES

Digital gift certificates are non-refundable and will be delivered to the email address provided for the intended recipient.
